Poverty in America

Today in America there is poverty in every city and every town. I believe that we need to help our own country before sending money to other countries. Many celebrities like Angelina Jolie, and Madonna are adopting African babies for what cause? They could be adopting children in need of homes that are here in America. Our children need just as much assistance and love as other children. Every country needs to take care of there own children and impoverished citizens. Many people think it is a selfish solution but their money could be used to help people that are in here and sometimes the money goes to enemy countries.
